Happy birthday, Juliette Gordon Low!

On this day in 1860, Juliette Gordon Low was born in Savannah, Georgia.  Born Juliette Magill Kinzie Gordon, Low is best known as the founder of the Girl Scouts.  Through the Girl Scouts, Low hoped to foster the individual growth, character, and self-sufficiency of young women throughout the country.  In honor of this inspiring woman’s birthday, here are some details about her life.
