Where to Find Christmas Lights for the Holidays

Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, Christmas is right around the corner. The holiday season is a time of celebration filled with joyous festivities and family oriented events. One of my favorite things to do for the holiday season is to drive through my community in search of Christmas lights. Seeing the twinkling light displays really brightens my mood.

Take a drive out to Candy Cane Lane in Woodland Hills is one of the most festive neighborhoods in the area for holiday light displays. Other than there, however, it seems that it can be a chore to find neighborhoods that have Christmas lights on display. Some neighborhoods have rules against the use of very many lights, while other neighborhoods may not celebrate Christmas at all. So how do you find holiday light displays? Rather than wasting time and costly fuel cruising around town on a mission for lights, check with your local Chamber of Commerce. Most every town in America has a Chamber, and if you are unsure of their location, contact your City Hall for information. The Chamber of Commerce will be able to direct you to neighborhoods that feature holiday lights on display.

Here at the Maria Sanchez Show I encourage everyone to get into the spirit of the holidays by loading up in the family in the car for an evening of lights and love. If you would like to share your favorite Christmas lights story, contact me today.
