Summer is a great time to cleanse your body by filling up with fruits and vegetables.  July is fruit and veggie month so we’re going to fill you in on these nutritional facts about them.

  • Fruits may make our skin look better with nutrients and minerals that rejuvenate cells and tissues.
  • Vegetables, like fruit, are low in calories and fat with a high amount of vitamins and minerals.
  • Vegetables may protect our bodies from stress, disease, and cancers because of their antioxidants.
  • Vegetables are packed to the brim with soluble and insoluble fiber that absorb water in the colon and may help with diseasessuch as colon cancer, as well as an aid for constipation, and hemorrhoids.
