Feeling Blue? We Invite You to Participate in Cheer Up the Lonely Day

Let’s cheer up our friends and family on Cheer Up the Lonely Day.

Lonesomeness is a terrible thing. As humans, we are social beings, and most of us feel the need to engage with one another. Establishing connections with each other can be an important step in our well-being. However, some of us may have lost our connections with loved ones. We invite you to reach out to the people in your lives on July 11 for Cheer Up the Lonely Day. Here are a few suggestions to help us make connections and cheer up the people in our lives.

  • Give Someone a Call. Here’s a novel thought, let’s actually call and speak to folks that we are or once were connected with. That’s why we’re suggesting that it would be a great way to participate in Cheer Up the Lonely Day by reaching out and calling someone. A conversation can go a long way in helping us feel connected to one another.
  • Spend Time Together. We can help our loved ones feel less alone by spending time together. Choose an activity to participate in together to honor them and the relationship too.

Join us at The Maria Sanchez Show in participating in Cheer Up the Lonely Day. Don’t forget to check out our latest program, Shadow Politics with Senator Michael D. Brown. Tune in on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. PDT/7:00 p.m. EDT.
