  • Ovarian cancer affects one in 72 women.
  • There’s no screening procedure for ovarian cancer, making it hard to detect.
  • Be vigilant of any symptoms of ovarian cancer. Symptoms include bloating, abdominal pain, fatigue, frequent urination, digestive problems, trouble eating, and back pain. If symptoms persist, call your doctor.
  • Every woman is at risk for ovarian cancer. Be vigilant so that you and your loved ones can detect cancer sooner than later.

  • Ovarian Cancer is one of the deadliest of women’s cancers.  This cancer typically occurs in women in their fifties and sixties with the media age being 63.
  • Many women who are diagnosed with Ovarian cancer have a genetic history that may include carrying the BRCA mutation gene and having a strong family history of ovarian cancer.
  • Unfortunately, many women don’t seek help until the disease has begun to spread, but if detected at its earliest stage, the five-year survival rate is more than 93%.
