Our Community House of Hope

As part of our support for community-funded organizations offering positive contributions, I’d like to tell you about the good works done by Our Community House of Hope. Totally community-funded, OCHH, serves end-of-life people and their families at no cost.

The first Our Community House of Hope opened in Thousand Oaks, CA, in March 2012. OCHH has plans to replicate its model in additional communities around California and the nation. Staffed with committed care givers, Our Community House of Hope provides loving, quality hospice services for residents.

The Maria Sanchez Show is proud to feature and support OCHH since its founding in 2005. I join Our Community House of Hope in believing that communities have a responsibility to offer terminally ill people skilled nursing care givers, giving these needy patients the dignity and respect everyone deserves.

I also support and encourage OCHH’s offering education for students and medical professionals to help both groups learn about the importance of end-of-life care and issues.
