Let’s Go Green on America Recycles Day

November 15th is America Recycles Day.  We invite you to try out these suggestions to observe this day with us.

Every November 15th, millions of people across the nation participate in America Recycles Day.  America Recycles Day is a campaign created in hopes of spreading awareness about recycling and promoting the purchase of products made from recycled materials.  In honor of this year’s America Recycles Day, let’s all dedicate ourselves to being more eco-friendly and try out these green celebration suggestions.

  • Sign a pledge- We can sign a pledge and commit ourselves to being more active in our recycling efforts. We can go to the America Recycles Day website and commit to being more environmentally conscious.
  • Spread Awareness- Another easy way for us to get involved is by spreading awareness for America Recycles Day by posting on social media and using the hashtags #AmericaRecyclesDay and #BeRecyled.
  • Host an Event- Hosting an event in honor of America Recycles Day is also a fantastic way for us to get involved. We should invite our friends and family to participate with us as we host recycling drives and other events that teach the importance of recycling.
  • Recycle at Home- Finally, a great way to honor America Recycles Day is by making an effort to reduce, reuse, and recycle in our own homes. By reducing our waste, reusing and repurposing what we can, and recycling whenever possible, we can better the planet and teach our families how to make green lifestyle choices.
