Here’s a great reason to say what we may not have said before; It’s National Compliment Day

Join us as we acknowledge National Compliment Day.

Today is National Compliment Day and, as the name suggests, this day encourages us to pay our friends, family members, and co-workers some compliments. According to psychologists, paying someone a compliment is an easy way to strengthen your connection with them while simultaneously boosting their self-esteem. Here are some of the benefits that giving compliments can bring about.

Compliments Are Motivational

When we go out of our way to commend someone for doing a good job, this recognition likely encourages them to work even harder. Compliments can go a long way for the people who feel underappreciated or unrecognized for their contributions.

Compliments Spread Happiness

When we pay someone a compliment, not only are we bringing happiness to the other person, but we are also doing something positive for ourselves. Studies have shown that compliment-givers actually feel happier and more satisfied after praising someone else

Compliments Create a More Positive Environment

Finally, when we share compliments more freely, we can create a more positive environment. This is particularly true for stating compliments in the workplace. Research has indicated that when co-workers give each other compliments, they tend to feel more positively about their working environment. So, let’s make some effort to create a welcoming workplace by commending our co-workers today

We at The Maria Sanchez Show hope you will join us as we give out some compliments and spread happiness today.  Don’t forget to check out our latest program, Shadow Politics with Senator Michael D. Brown.  Tune in on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. PST/7:00 p.m. EST.
