Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month.

National Hispanic Heritage Month spans from September 15 through October 15.  With this month of cultural celebration, many of us may want to celebrate in substantive ways. Here are some of the ways that we suggest consideration.

  • Learn About Influential Hispanic Figures in History

One great way to celebrate this month is by learning about the Hispanic Americans that have contributed to society, history, culture, and so on.  By challenging ourselves to research these important figures, we can preserve their memory and legacies.  Here’s a link to the 25 most influential Hispanics.

  • Explore Latino Cuisines

A huge part of the Hispanic culture is food.  This is why we may want to consider stepping out of our comfort zones and explore some of the tasty and culturally significant dishes that different Hispanic nations have to offer.

Join us at The Maria Sanchez Show as we celebrate this National Hispanic Heritage Month.  Don’t forget to check out our latest program,Shadow Politics with Senator Michael D. Brown.  Tune in on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. PDT/7:00 p.m. EDT.
