Information about the New York Half Marathon Courtesy of The Maria Sanchez Show

Get ready for the 8th New York Half marathon that hosted 10,000 runners in 2013, the 2014 season will be ready for action on Sunday, March 16. The 13.1 New York Half marathon will start in Central Park leading to the finish line near Battery Park.

Participants will run past the Broadway area, but they will not have time to stop and take in a musical. The NYC Half marathon attracts amateur runners and professional athletes, however, the partially hilly course poses a difficult start for those who are not accustomed to running long stretches.

People who want to take part in the New York Half marathon need to set their clocks early because the NYC Half starts at 7:30 a.m. Fees range from $117 to $128 per person. Visit the New York Half marathon to sign up for the run.
