Be Grateful for Everyone and Everything in Your Life on World Gratitude Day

Be Grateful for Everyone and Everything in Your Life on World Gratitude Day (Sept. 21)

September 21st is World Gratitude Day.  Let’s learn how to show our appreciation.

World Gratitude Day was founded with the hope that people would take one day out of the year to reflect on all the good we have in our lives.  Sometimes in the whirlwind of everyday life, we can forget how much we have to be grateful for.  So this World Gratitude Day, take the time to celebrate with these suggestions.

-Make an appreciation list.  Make a list of all the people you are grateful for and consider doing a little something to show you care.  This is also a great activity to do with kids.  Simply seeing all the positive influences in your life is enough to make any heart thankful.

-Don’t push away bad memories.  World Gratitude Day is about appreciating everything, even those bad or embarrassing moments in your life.  While it may be painful to remember, your past experiences and memories all play a role in who you are today.  Appreciate these obstacles because they have made you a stronger person.

-Show kindness to strangers.  Hold the door for someone, give up your seat on the subway, or simply smile at people.  Today is about positive thoughts and warm hearts; do your best to make everyone you encounter feel appreciated.

We at The Maria Sanchez Show want to express our gratitude for our audience.  Thank you for your continued support and we hope you will join us in celebrating World Gratitude Day.
