7 Foods that Give you Natural Energy

There are a variety of foods that can help promote health and wellness. We may likely achieve natural energy by living a lifestyle of healthy eating, eliminating the need for energy supplements that can be extremely harmful to our bodies. It is suggested that by adding these 7 foods to our diets,we may begin feeling energized in a natural way:

  1. Brown rice has the ability to create energy from proteins and carbohydrates.
  2. Sweet potatoes have high contents of carbohydrates, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A, which in combination, all assist in combating fatigue.
  3. Feeling that 2pm lethargy at work? Simply enjoy a spoon full of honey instead of an energy drink.
  4. Fruits are filled with glucose, which can actually give us a burst of energy within a half an hour after consumption.
  5. The healthy sugars in bananas have the ability to keep you going for a few more hours when you are feeling exhausted.  I begin most of my mornings with 16 ounces of water, followed by a banana and then my one cup of coffee.
  6. Apples take longer to digest, however, that means that they will give us an extended release of energy.
  7. Almonds are a simple snack that we can pop into our mouth for a quick energy boost.
