Suggestions to Protect Our Environment for Endangered Species Day

Find out how we can make a difference during Endangered Species Day.

Invasive species are a threat to local plants and animals. Planting the right foliage native to our ecosystem can help to better preserve our eco-system. That way we’re better able to support a healthier ecosystem with fewer invasive species.

More about how we can be agents of change. lists the endangered species in 2017.  Unfortunately, the list is exhaustive. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service is responsible for administering the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

By logging on to we can learn more about the Listing Program, the Recovery Program, and the efforts with Working With Tribes to better understand just how vital this day is in raising awareness and hopefully, saving species that are on the list.  This most definitely takes a village, and each one of us is responsible for helping to make our world a better place, creature by creature, plant by plant.

Please join us with your awareness and your conscientious efforts in this regard!
