It’s time to celebrate the Year of the Rooster! Chinese New Year is here. Traditionally celebrated between January 21 and February 20 as it’s based on a lunar calendar, this year’s Chinese New Year falls on January 28. About Roosters.

Each Chinese Zodiac sign comes with certain characteristics. It’s believed that people born in these years will have certain personality traits. People born this year are associated with the rooster. These people are punctual, trustworthy, and responsible.

Traditionally, red is worn when it comes to ringing in the New Year. The color is thought to symbolize the start of a new year. Additionally, it helps to ward off evil spirits.
