Will You Be Participating in Black Friday 2014?

Each year, we top off Thanksgiving with Black Friday. Black Friday gives us the opportunity to jump on bargain deals so that we can get the best bang for our buck when it comes to holiday shopping.

Retailers are no strangers to the holiday, as they typically get the most crowds. In order to maximize profits on this bargain holiday, many retail stores have actually begun opening at 5am or even on Thanksgiving Day.  While some folks are upset that they must cut family time short in order to take advantage of these deals, many consumers see the early opening times as more opportunity to save.

If you will be enjoying the morning chill while waiting to take advantage of the Black Friday deals, it is recommended that you plan your route in advance to avoid the chaos. Determine which stores you are looking to hit on Black Friday and their opening times, and plan accordingly.

Personally, I’ve never been a shopper and I avoid doing so at any and all costs.  I find it exhausting, boring and one of my least favorite things to do.  However, I know that I’m in the minority, especially for women.
